Made to order Quigley Down Under Cartridge Belt For 45 70 Ammunition, or my take on it. Made from 6-7 oz veg tan leather, laminated, dyed and then hand finished. Made with an elongated billet so it will fit into the slot whether it is in the first hole or the last, the purpose of the slot is to keep the billet secured out of the way so you can reach the cartridges without obstruction,as can be seen in the photos.
